Unrestricted Free Agents Not Worth Signing this Offseason
Julius Peppers, DE- Everyone knows this guy can play, but at what price? He is going to command Albert Haynesworth money to whichever team he goes to, and probably minimum effort. I'd rather have a guy that plays his heart out and records 10 plus sacks than a player who barely tries and notches double digits.

Willie Parker, RB- Willie Parker will draw lots of interest from teams that want the "fast" Willie Parker instead of the "I've lost a step and I'm always hurt" Willie Parker.
Larry Johnson, RB- Larry Johnson will sign a couple million dollar contract but he isn't worth the constant negative tweets, lack of effort, and zero big play ability.

Nate Burleson, WR- Nasty Nate has seen his stock fluctuate more than the Dow Jones. He has had two big seasons in his career, both on the last of his contract. He could be one of the premiere receivers in the league if he was committed.
*Signed by Lions
Kyle Vanden Bosch, DE- I'm a big fan of Vanden Bosch in light of the foort his puts into games, but the truth is he only has recorded 10 plus sacks in two of his eight years in the NFL. He only has 7.5 the past two years.

Just to note, these players are all UNRESTRICTED free agents. They will not command something in return for signing with their new teams unlike the RESTRICTED free agents.
Signing over-rated free agents for maximized contracts is the poison for any team in the NFL. Here's a list of players that teams should think twice about before offering a contract. Also, check out my Free Agents Worth Signing.
Joey Porter, OLB- Joey Porter could be a signed just to teach a team like the Bills how to play the 3-4, but heis a liability against the run.
Duanta Robinson, CB- Robinson has above average coverage skills, but I just can't stand corners that are injury prone and can't tackle. He will sign a large contract, then get hurt a leave his team with a huge vacancy at corner.

Fabian Washington, CB- Fabian Washington will draw some interest since he is only 27 and runs like the wind, but he is injury prone and his tackling technique makes Deion Sanders look like Ray Rewis.
Julius Peppers work ethic makes some teams question if he is worth a maxed out contract.
