2011 NFL Mock Draft
The Rams have something to build on with the addition of Sam Bradford at quarterback. Now they only need receivers, a tight end who can block, and pretty much everything on defense. This is mostly because they have failed to get better in the off season. At this rate, only four more years of rebuilding to do!

Robert Quinn has the talent to be picked number one overall. He had 11 sacks as a sophomore to go along with 19 tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Those stats alone could have propelled him into top 5 consideration in the 2010 draft.

St. Louis could also go with a receiver like Michael Floyd or Julio Jones here, but Quinn has more positional value.
1) St. Louis Rams: Robert Quinn, DE, North Carolina
Team Needs: DE, CB, WR, DT
NFL Comparison- Justin Tuck

IN DEPTH NFL MOCK DRAFTS, FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS, NFL FREE AGENCY, AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT THE NFL  AND NBA HAVE TO OFFER
Jake Locker could have been the second quarterback taken in the 2010 draft. Instead, he decided to come back to a 5 win, non competitive football team while risking injury. Nice decision Jake.

Regardless, Locker would be the perfect fit for a Buffalo team in shambles. The Bills need to find an identity on both sides of the ball before their only talented veterans leave via retirement and free agency, Locker can give them that identity in the passing game.
NFL Comparison- Matt Stafford
Team Needs: QB, OT, OLB, DE
Team Needs: QB, OT, OLB, WR
2) Buffalo Bills:  Jake Locker, QB, Washington
The Chiefs could use help pretty much everywhere. They ranked 25th in total offense and 30th in defense. The only positions they won't address early are quarterback and running back. They could definitely use an upgrade over Matt Cassell, but won't mess with the 50 million dollar investment they gave him.

Patrick Peterson has enough talent to be taken number one overall, but will most likely fall somewhere between 2-7.

NFL Comparison- Charles Woodson
3) Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU
Team Needs:  OT, WR, CB, OLB

Cleveland ranked 32nd in offense and 31st in defense in 2009. Ouch. Mike Holmgrem has to get them an identity on both sides of the ball. Marcell Dareus is about as physical as they come from a defensive line prospect. He can be the force that was left empty when Corey Williams left via trade to Detroit.
NFL Comparison- Richard Seymour
Team needs :  WR, LB, DE, S
4) Cleveland Browns: Marcell Dareus, DE/DT, Alabama

Tampa Bay drafted two stud defensive tackles in 2010 by selecting both Gerald McCoy and Brain Price. Those selections alone with help a defense that ranked near the bottom in rushing yards allowed. If they can select a dominant defensive end that can rush the passer, they will have improved heavily. Romeus had eight sacks last year for the Panthers, and will only improve in his senior season.
Team Needs : DE, S, OT, CB
5) Tampa Bay Bucs:  Greg Romeus, DE, Pittsburgh

6) Detroit Lions:  Prince  Amukamara, CB, Nebraska
Team Needs : CB, S, OLB, DE
The Lions could be the most improved team in 2010. They added quality players at key positions such as Ndamukong Suh, Jahvid Best, Corey Williams, Nate Burleson, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Rob Sims, and Amari Spievy. Look out for Detroit in 2010.

Jim Schwartz still hasn't found his shutdown cornerback that is needed for his man to man, blitzing defense. Amari Spievey is a good prospect, but will need time to develop.

Prince Amukamara has all the tools plus instincts. At 6'1" he can shutdown anybody with the right coaching.

7) New England Patriots: Mark Ingram, RB, AlabamaTeam Needs: DE, OLB, G, RB
The Patriots robbed another helpless franchise of a pick with value here at number 7. The Patriots haven't had a feature runner since Corey Dillion. Mark Ingram has the character Bill Belicheck likes in a player.

Mark Ingram would be a perfect fit in New England's spread shotgun scheme. He had vision, quickness, speed, and he blocks.

8) Chicago Bears: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre DameTeam Needs: WR, G, OT, DT
The Bears have a converted cornerback as their number one receiver, whom has as many receptions as their running back.

To capitalize on the tutelage of Mike Martz, Chicago has to find a playmaker at wideout. They can't continue to have Greg Olsen lead the team in receptions. Michael Floyd is a go-to guy, who might even be a little undervalued with a new starter at quarterback for the Irish.

I had Mallett to the Seahawks last year before he decided to stay in school. Pete Carroll might be hard pressed to find a quarterback in his second year. It will be tough to pass up on the 6'7" Mallett, whom threw for 30 touchdowns in his first year with Arkansas.

Quarterback's with tools like Malletts' don't come around to often, which is why he will most likely be picked in the top 10.
NFL Comparison-  John Elway
9) Seattle Seahawks: Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas
Team Needs:  DE, QB, DT, S

10) Jacksonvillle Jaguars: Julio Jones, WR, Alabama
Who knows where the Jaguars could go with this pick, but for right now im sticking with Julio Jones. Jones has all the athletic ability in the world, but hasn't had the best quarterback play in his two year's at Alabama. If he played in a spread offense such as Oklahoma's or Folrida's, he would be thought of as the best receiver in the country.

NFL Comparison- Reggie Wayne
Team Needs: S, C, G, WR

Washington is one of those teams that just needs a few players here and there to make a playoff run.

Von Miller is the best 3-4 outside linebacker in this class. He will be just another piece of the puzzle for the Redskin's.

Here's a Bold Prediction of the Day: The Redskin's will make the playoffs in 2011.
NFL Comparison- Larry English
Team Needs: OLB, RB, OT, S
11) Washington Redskins: Von Miller, OLB, Texas A&M

12) Arizona Cardinals:  Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford       Team Needs: OT, OLB, QB, DT
By week 8 of the 2010 season Arizona will finally come to terms with the inept Matt Leinert. If Derek Anderson also struggles, Arizona will most likely have the privilege of drafting in one of the deepest quarterback draft's in  a decade.

Andrew Luck plays in a conservative offense that doesn't put up haughty numbers, so he won't get the recognition he deserves. He could be the best prospect in the draft, and will have great value in the middle of round 1.
NFL Comparison- Phillip Rivers

13) Carolina Panthers: Travis Lewis, OLB, Oklahoma             Team Needs: DE, S, OLB, OT
Carolina will most likely go defense here, either at outside linebacker or defensive end.

Travis Lewis could see his stock soar even higher if Oklahoma does well this year. He has a similar skill set to Aaron Curry: an instinctive, down hill hitter, who is versatile enough to blitz or pass defend every play.

14) New York Giants: Jurrell Casey, DT, USC
Team Needs:  DT, MLB, OT, CB
The Giant's defense was the reason to their late season slide. They let up over an average of 30 points in six of their last seven games. What happened to the Giants of old? Their defensive line is wilting, they are vulnerable at linebacker, and hopeless in the secondary.

Jason Pierre Paul was only the beginning of the defensive overhaul. Jurrell Casey would be the next best fit.

15) Cincinnati Bengals: Deunta Williams, FS, NCU      Team Needs: S, OLB, G, DE

The Bengals will have to prove that 2009 wasn't a fluke. They've filled a lot of their needs this off season, but could still improve in a couple areas.

Deunta Williams would upgrade Roy "can't cover" Williams. This would allow them to blitz with less caution of getting burnt deep to Roy's deep third or half.

William's plays on a spectacular North Carolina stop unit that could have three first rounder's next April. If he produces big numbers, he won't even be available in this spot.

16) Tennessee Titans: DeAndre McDaniel, S, Clemson
Team Needs: CB, S, OLB, DT
The Titans are the poster boys for hot/cold teams in the NFL. They are good when they stick to the game-plan of running the ball and getting to the quarterback.

The only consistent thing about them is the fact that they will go defense here, They were 31st in the league in the pass defense department.

DeAndre McDaniel plays on a mediocre defense that won't help his draft position, so he has good value here.
NFL Comparison- LaRon Landry
